Crafting the Container
A lot of what makes an event amazing is the subtle wisdom the facilitator holds and weaves into the workshop that might not be obvious and clear, but is part of what makes the work impactful and transformative. Having an understanding of the process of transformation and how things like resistance show up in our students (and in us!) can help us know how to guide people deeper without pushing them in unhelpful or harmful ways. A lot is about our orientation and mindset, subtle guidance cues and ways that we present information.
In this module we also touch on some basics of trauma-awareness, which is such a hot topic for a very good reason! A lot of new facilitators unintentionally cause harm by not understanding how and why trauma affects people, and we cover some simple ways you can present your work to prevent re-traumatisation as well as how to support someone if trauma shows up. You'll also learn the FLAME method for situation management if anything should arise in your even while you're holding space!

We will however teach you how to use the tools and wisdom you already embody, and how to craft beautiful, professional events that will keep students coming back for more!
This course is specifically focused on events with topics around love, sexuality, intimacy, relationships and spirituality. Many of these teachings apply to any form of facilitation, but this course is focused on these subjects as it is a highly sensitive space with specific needs that are different to other fields.
You may already have completed other facilitator trainings, coaching certifications or other professional trainings, or you may be completely new - we hope wherever you are on your journey, you'll find a tonne of wisdom and support for your journey.
This course is also perfect for coaches, therapists and guides who are looking to bring their wisdom into in-person events, as while the knowledge and practices we use might be similar, organising live events and running them is a completely different skillset! This training will be perfect to help you translate your 1:1 work into group containers.
Our focus in the course is for you to run in-person workshops and rituals, generally 2-6 hr long experiences. We'll have an additional course for retreats and longer immersions for those with some years of experience already- and it's recommended no matter where you are that you complete this course first then do the additional courses on top of it.
Who this is Not for
This is likely not the course for you if you're totally new to sacred sexuality, Tantra or intimacy work. We recommend you spend time going to some workshops, retreats, temple nights, festivals and other spaces and spend some years integrating the work into your life before you begin to consider teaching others.
Being a great teacher is about so much more than having some tools you guide- it requires a level of expertise and embodiment in your own life so you can live by example.
Please also note this is not a certification program- we only certify facilitators who do our live training, who we can see teach live and who navigate these spaces with utmost integrity and skill.
